Ramcoat Care & Cleaning
Ramcoat products are compatible with most standard cleaning agents. Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the product’s slip resistance and prevent residue build-up that could diminish its effectiveness.
Use compressed air or a soft-bristle brush to remove small debris.
In environments with heavy grease or oil exposure, grime may accumulate in the textured surface, effectively reducing the slip resistance.
To restore optimal performance, use a stiff-bristle brush or power washing.

Care for Stainless Steel Ramcoat
Chemical Resistance
Stainless steel Ramcoat products are highly resistant to most chemical and environmental conditions, from alkaline to acidic. They can also be passivated to remove discoloration caused by welding.
Cleaning Tips
Avoid using organic enzyme- or alkaline-based cleaning agents, as these can blacken the surface, affecting the underlying Ramcoat layer.
For grease or oil stains, use organic solvents like brake cleaner. Scrubbing may be required for buildup.
Remove debris with a power washer and stiff-bristle brush.
Rust Removal
If surface rust develops, diluted muriatic acid (no stronger than 1:1 ratio with water) can be used to eliminate it.
Proper care and regular cleaning ensure that Ramcoat products retain their peak performance and durability over time. Contact us for any additional maintenance questions or recommendations.
